The Crossville Club meets each 2nd Monday at 1:30 p.m. at The
Sand Mountain Research & Extension Center on Highway 68 East in
Crossville. We would love to have new homemakers join us in our meetings.
Our goal is to make our homes more efficient for our families and
to help in the community in any way we can. The Club has many projects on going. Some things we are working on is Boo Boo Babies for the Health Department, Hats for Cancer Patients, Baby Books for the hospital, collecting can tabs for Ronald McDonald House and Labels For Education for the art department at school. We have helped with the Art Class, read for the Dr. Suess program, worked in the Santa Shop and provided gifts, worked in the Christmas Store at Crossville Health Care. We have ladies who work at the Nutrition Center. Our ladies give a birthday party for the patients at Crossville Health Care with March birthdays. We always have fun with this. The club has a booth in the fair. In September we have our club picnic. We go to interesting places and enjoy being together. We also have a Christmas meeting where we share in the meaning of the seasons. |
