Lookout Mountain Homemakers and Community Leaders

We meet every 2nd. Tuesday night of each month at Walker Chapel Methodist Church at 6:00 p.m.

The month of July, the club does not meet.

The Lookout Mountain Homemakers Club was organized in 1980.  In 1981, the club organized a nutrition site at Ruhama Baptist Church.  This lasted twenty years.  In 1987, the club was asked to raise money to buy six acres of land for Walker Chapel Cemetery.  The club raised the money.  In 1997, the club planted shrubbery in front of Ruhama School.  The club took care of the shrubbery until 2009.   The club has been involved in many projects through- out the years.
