Portersville Homemakers and Community Leaders


    The Portersville Homemakers and Community Leaders Club has been in existence since 1939.  Our Club has always been dedicated to the education and empowerment of women.  We have programs that develop not only homemaking skills but leadership and educational capabilities as well.  We promote civic involvement with projects such as “Adopt-a Mile” litter pick-up, fund raising for the Collinsville Public Library and “Boo Boo Babies for the De Kalb County Health Department, wrapping presents for the Collinsville Nursing Home residents at Christmas, among others.
